What your kitchen does with the KDS
Built for a kitchen in full service: readable from across the room and run with one tap.
Pending, in progress and ready
Each order moves on with one button: Start, Mark ready and Delivered. If you get it wrong, send it back.
Each zone, its own orders
Choose which zone each screen shows, such as the kitchen or the bar, or see them all. And filter by table or by item.
Time alerts
The card turns amber and then red when a table has been waiting too long. You choose after how many minutes.
It sounds when something comes in
A bell or a beep, at the volume you set, when an order arrives or something is ready. Plus an on-screen alert with the table.
Every detail of the table
“View” opens the order: waiter, covers, time, notes, the set menu dishes and anything voided.
Connected to the floor
Orders arrive on their own from the POS and the waiter app. If the connection drops, the screen tells you and reconnects by itself.
Pass (TV)
A TV on the pass, no touching needed
In pass mode, the screen shows only what is in progress and what is ready, in large type. Nobody has to touch it.
- Two columns: in progress and ready to serve.
- It sounds when something is ready.
- If it does not all fit, the columns scroll on their own.
- It runs in the browser: a TV, a monitor or a tablet will do.
Floor · Ready
What is ready, nice and big for the floor
A screen on the floor shows only what is ready to serve, in very large type, so your waiters see it at a glance.
- Only the Ready column, in large cards.
- It alerts you when something is ready.
- No buttons: it is just for looking.
Screen settings
Each screen, set up for its spot
In the settings you choose what each screen is for and how it alerts. They are saved on that screen, so the kitchen, the pass and the floor can each work differently.
- Kitchen, Pass (TV) or Floor · Ready mode, or the columns you want.
- Touch with buttons, or just for looking.
- Automatic, normal, large or extra large text.
- Bell or beep sound, with its volume.
- The minutes for the amber warning and for red.

An order on the KDS

The order comes in
The waiter sends it from the POS or the waiter app and the alert sounds.

Start
The cook taps Start and the order moves to In progress.

Mark it ready
When the dish is up, the cook marks it ready and the pass sees it.

Deliver it
The waiter takes it to the table and it is marked as delivered.
What do I need to put the KDS in the kitchen?
A screen with a browser: a TV, a monitor or a tablet. Sign in with your user, pick the location and you are done. It can also be installed as an app.
Where do the orders come from?
From the POS and the waiter app: as soon as the waiter sends the order, it shows on the screen.
Can I have one screen for the kitchen and another for the bar?
Yes. Each screen picks its zone from the ones in your restaurant, or shows them all.
What is the difference between the modes?
Kitchen is touch and shows all three columns. Pass (TV) shows what is in progress and what is ready, with no touching. Floor · Ready shows only what is ready, in large type.
Does it warn me if a table has been waiting too long?
Yes. The card turns amber after a set time and red when it is running late. By default, at 10 and 20 minutes, and you can change that.
What if the internet goes down?
The screen tells you there is no connection and reconnects by itself. In the meantime, new orders may not appear.
