Spain’s Anti-Fraud Law requires invoicing software to record every invoice so that it cannot be altered. TuCartaYa is ready for Verifactu: when you settle a bill, its invoice is created with a chained record and a QR code, with no extra steps in the middle of service.

What TuCartaYa does with every invoice
You take payment as usual. The invoice record is handled in the background.
One invoice per payment
When you settle a bill on the POS, its invoice is created right away. No need to issue it separately.
Chained records
Each record carries the fingerprint of the previous one, as Verifactu requires. If anyone changed an invoice, it would show.
QR code on the invoice
Every invoice has its QR code so your customer can check it on the Spanish Tax Agency website.
Cancellations recorded
If you void a bill, its invoice is cancelled too and the cancellation is recorded.
Full and simplified invoices
The simplified invoice is created automatically. If a customer asks for one with their tax details, you issue a full invoice.
Supplier purchases
Record your suppliers’ invoices with their VAT in the same dashboard where you see your sales.

What is Verifactu?
It is the Spanish Tax Agency system that requires invoicing software to record every invoice so it cannot be altered or deleted. It comes from the Anti-Fraud Law (Law 11/2021) and its regulation (Royal Decree 1007/2023).
Is TuCartaYa ready for Verifactu?
Yes. Every payment creates its invoice with a record chained to the previous one, its fingerprint and its QR code. If you are unsure how it affects you, ask us and we will look at your case.
Do I have to do anything different when taking payment?
No. You take payment as usual and the invoice is created automatically. If a customer asks for an invoice with their details, you issue a full invoice.
What happens if I void a bill?
Its invoice is cancelled too and the cancellation is recorded, so your invoice history stays complete.
Does it work in the Basque Country?
Verifactu is the Spanish Tax Agency system. The Basque Country uses TicketBAI, which TuCartaYa does not include for now.
